At Silver Bell Miniature Schnauzers, our journey into breeding began with a simple desire to bring the joy of a puppy into our home. We had previously raised miniature pinschers and fell in love with the companionship and character of small breeds. Though our initial plans to breed didn’t come to fruition due to medical concerns with one of our dogs, the idea never left our hearts.

Everything changed when we met a breeder who introduced us to the concept of foster-adoption, an opportunity to love, raise, and occasionally breed a dog under shared care. That experience opened the door to something greater: a calling to raise healthy, happy puppies who would go on to become cherished members of other families.

We don’t view this as a business. It’s a labor of love. Every litter brings joy, excitement, and a sense of purpose. From the moment our puppies are born, they’re nurtured like members of the family. We celebrate their milestones, from learning the doggy door to peeing on command, and we delight in their intelligence and playfulness.
